We recently visited Blossom - The Fusion Spot, located in Ghatkopar, R-Odeon Mall. The place is bustling with youngsters and food lovers from around the city. As the name suggests, they serve a fusion of Indian and International Cuisines.
We commenced our meal with
*Not Mushroom Soup, for those who don't eat mushrooms, this is an absolute must-have. Made with soya, water chestnuts and a strong flavour of garlic, this soup tastes deliciously creamy and warm.
For starters, we tried,
*Tacos Tanga: Tacos Tanga are contemporary taco shells with beans, cream and salsa, served in a horse cart. How cool is that?
The shells are crunchy and the filling is amazing. Thumbs up to this dish.
*Chinese Chaat: Was a different fusion from your regular Pani Puri.
The puris are filled with chole, topped with veggies and are given a spicy Chinese twist.
The next on the list was the very famous 'Hariyali Pav Bhaji'.
Made with spinach, green peas and green garlic served alongside papad, pav and chilli onion thecha for that extra kick, this fusion Mumbai Street Food are not worth missing.
*Pahadi Pizza and Farmer's Pizza: Served in a very innovative platter, one can lift each pizza slice, placed on a different triangular section. Pahadi Pizza was crunchy, filled with paneer and Indian spices. Farmer's Pizza had a topping off all the veggies with a yummy cheesy crust.
We're thankful to Mr Tank, Mr.Snehal and Mr.Jagdish for exceptional service.
