Ten-Second Takeaway

Men, it’s the season to be tropical. Don printed shirts by Delhi-based brand Flora for Fauna and look like summer’s never leaving.

Into The Wild

Dhvani Behl, design student of Rhode Island School of Design started her own brand Flora for Fauna in 2014, and likes to be known as a print-maker. This is a brand for women’s wear and men’s wear alike, and what makes her designs pop are the prints on the cloth. She uses textiles as her expression of art and laboriously transfers her handmade drawings on to cloth.

We are loving her new menswear collection, In The Jungle, which defies norm with its floral, and forest-themed prints for men, and veers into the unchartered territory of being a bit flamboyant for men. The colours are muted yet attractive such as mustard yellow, dull green, red, etc. and are all digitally printed on to gorgeous hand-spun silks.

These shirts come in her variation of the classic Chinese collar, and regular collars too. You should also check out her previous collections in cotton; these can be browsed through on her Facebook page here and Instagram page right here.

How Shall I Order These?

Get in touch with Flora for Fauna by emailing them on floraforfaunashop@gmail.com or calling on +91 9810024164. You could choose the design you like {provided it is in stock} and do a bank transfer. A shirt from here costs roughly between INR 4000-8000, so it is a bit of a splurge but worth it, we promise.

So, We’re Saying….

Ditch the black and white, drop the reservations and slip into these shirts for the next night around town, or on your vacation to Alibaug. We would.
