Diva Maharashtracha is one of the famous restaurants in Mumbai. It’s located near Shivaji Park. It is famous for its traditional Maharashtrian food. One can enjoy experiencing the traditional culture of Maharashtra here. Diva Maharashtracha is a traditional Indian restaurant with an opulent interior.
Yesterday I visited this place with my friends. The ambience was very decent rather that been fancy. The entire staff was very polite to speak. The manager was also quite friendly.
What I ordered:
CHICKEN KONKANI HIVRE FRY: This dish consisted of meat pieces covered with a paste of coriander leaves and Konkani spices fried in olive oil. The taste was amazing. The chicken meat was well cooked and the presentation of this dish was nice.
NAGPURI SAOJI MUTTON: This was basically a mutton gravy full of spices and various herbs. This dish was inspired by the Saoji community style cooking.
KOLHAPURI CHICKEN PANDHARA
RASSA(Recommended): This dish was again a Chicken curry cooked in coconut milk fused with various spices with Kolhapuri style. The gravy was fabulous in taste. The aroma was fantastic.
PRAWNS KALWAN: This dish was basically a prawns curry. The taste was good. The prawns were well cooked.
Overall, Diva Maharashtra was a great experience for me and I highly recommend it to you. It’s a good place to visit for dinner with family.
