We tried the Chaska Maska chicken which is chicken with cheese butter and spices served in a handi. Simply loved the flavour of cheese with the fragrance of the tandoor. A definite must-try.
We also ordered the Amritsari fish tikka which was a tandoori fish tikka in masalas and cooked in the form of a kebab.
The mains we ordered the famous butter chicken and Sarson ka saag with Makki roti. The butter chicken was one of the best I’ve had in Mumbai and as close to authentic as can be in Mumbai. The Sarson ka saag was average and if you’re a fan of saag and Makki roti you might be a little disappointed.
The highlight was the dessert. Simply took my heart away. The gulab jamun and rabri was simply superb. But the star was the sizzling brownie with ice cream. Heaven may be an understatement for that.
