What Makes It Awesome?

145 Cafe & Bar

Kamla mills once again! And I'm so happy that my favourite bar and cafe has opened doors now in Lower Parel and the place is a sure shot visit. So earlier the struggle was real as we had to go all the way to party at Kala Ghoda for the vibe of 145. Then travelling became a little easier with the previous opening in Bandra and now another grand one in Lower Parel.  And this one is way more spacious with classy solid interiors. The bar " jaw-drop"

Talking about service, one of the sweetest servers I've met was Balram, he took such great care of my table and encouraged me to eat and drink best of dishes and cocktails however calories count as it was a weekday. I bet you'd relate to this.

What I Tried?

"The visuals denote tasting portions as I did not intend to waste any food. "

SALAD

SPINACH AND FETA

Cannot describe in words how lovely this was. I'm not much of a salad person but if salads have turned out to be so delicious, well, I'm in! This had paneer, feta, walnuts, burnt garlic and deep fried spinach leaves.

APPETISERS

AVOCADO ON TOAST

Highly Recommended. The best avocado toast I've had so far. This had multigrain bread topped with avocado and feta cheese.

MINI NONVEG PLATTER

So I wanted to taste this and I'm not a meat person, talking about chicken tikka, it was succulent, malai tikka was yummy. They also serve galouti kebabs, kebabs in this platter for those who eat meat.

VEG PLATTER

This had reshmi broccoli, baby corn and paneer tikka.

BUTTER CHICKEN BAO

Can never forget to order this dish when at 145. I love the softness of baos here and the smooth butter chicken in them makes it all the more tastier.

MAINS

PIZZA

So we had a half n half pizza where 1 side was greek pizza with sundried tomatoes and olives while the other half was mushroom and truffle oil. Now you can decide whether you like paneer more or mushroom. But were distinct in their own ways.

DESSERT

145's CHEESECAKE

So this was the special cheesecake served with fresh strawberries and compote. It was indeed sinful and I had a tough time choosing my dessert.

DRINKS

FERRERO ROCHER FREAKSHAKE

145 and freakshakes just go hand in hand. You should try freakshakes here at least once!

MINT JULEP

This was red label on the rocks with a hint of mint. Smooth and easy drink.

So visit 145 and it's completely worth it!
