Nestled in a quaint setting amidst the bustling pathways of Juhu, Akshay Arora’s latest venture Fuu Qin is an amalgamation of dewy pastels - millennial pinks, vibrant greens and subtle blues ready to make any post-Instagram worthy in a heartbeat. The walls are splattered with an abundance of plants and the quirky neon quotes add an element of fascination, a duet perfect to provide that much-needed breather from the concrete jungle outside.

Designed with an aim to provide the best of personalised culinary experience to its guests, Fuu Qin features cosy seating options and an open kitchen, allowing for the chefs to interact and the customers to enjoy their meal without the chatter of endless crowds around.

On the occasion of the launch, owner Akshay Arora comments: “I am extremely delighted to present Fuu Qin to all food lovers in Mumbai. We have spent a lot of time researching and developing our special offerings, and that will surely reflect through our carefully curated delicacies. The highlight at Fuu Qin is not only our in-house baos and sliders but also our commitment to ensuring that our diners partake in a wholesome eating experience.”

A step above from the rest, Fuu Qin strongly believes in making everything from scratch in house, right from the Mayonnaise to all the other sauces. Probably one of the only few places that bake and makes all their bread, Fuu Qin assures airy and fluffy buns and baos, every time. By adding probiotics, sourcing only the best of meats and organic produce and incorporating artisanal cheese instead of commercial options, the restaurant aims to further add in nutritional value while retaining natural flavours of the ingredients. What’s more, the restaurant also vows to distribute any additional food from the day to the needy, feeding as many stomachs as they can.

The refreshingly contemporary menu will consist of sliders, baos and desserts guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. With crowd favourites ranging from Tempura Koliwada with a touch of traditional spices, Buttermilk Chicken placed in between a black charcoal bun and Sea Bass Slider with jalapeno black cheddar mayo to Avocado Sourdough, Vegan Slider and Japanese Style Katsu Slider in a homemade brioche bun, the menu will have something for every palate and liking.
