Gaggan was known as one of the first chefs to spin the traditional Indian cuisine into a much more experimental genre, and is best known for dishes that go beyond the apparent. Be it his famous Birds Nest {a dish made of potatoes and sweet chutney}, a laddoo-like vada pav, Charcoal {a twist on a sweet potato chaat}, among others. No beating around the bush, a single seat at this exclusive dinner will dent your newly acquired salary by INR 19,500. As Gaggan is here as part of a four-city pop up with Taj, there will be dinners hosted at Taj properties in Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai as well.
Why Should I Go?
Gaggan Anand’s restaurant is ranked the 7th best in ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list, 1st in ‘Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants’ and usually has a waiting of a few months, at the very least. Unless you’re going to Bangkok, and have a well-slotted calendar, the possibility of actually dining at Gaggan are far and few to begin with, and so this may be an incredible opportunity we’re getting.
