If you're all about sustainable living (hey, we're a part of this too!) and believe (like us) that you can make a change, one small step at a time, we've got some great news for you. There's a garage sale that's about to happen this weekend, that's all about promoting second hand culture around us.
The Local Thrift, started by Namrata Iyer, is all set to kick-start the sustainable culture in the city, and has gathered a team of like-minded people to who also want to contribute in their own way. The garage sale will have anything ranging from clothing, bags, jewellery, books, glassware, home decor, or even electronics and appliances. You buy these secondhand products at really reasonable rates (INR 200 for clothing, etc) and help save the planet at the same time.
The garage sale will take place on October 6, at Native Spaces in Versova, from 11 AM to 6 PM. We think it's a great cause to support, so do stop by and promote this thought! All the items to be sold are in good condition and would love to find homes where they spark joy.
