Garbett point.. One day trek.. the most Mesmerizing, pristine, scenic...just 2 hrs from mumbai

How do you reach the place..

•Take train towards Karjat, get down at bhivpuri station
•From there ask for bhivpuri lake, it is hardly 5mins walk
•At the start of the lake you will find alot of food stalls selling vada pav, misal... so one can start the trek with tasty breakfast..☺☺☺

About the trek..

Entire route is scenic from start to end..

The trek starts with view of bhivpuri lake surrounded by plateaus on all sides, they in turn surrounded by mountains..☺☺
One would come across a lot of small Waterfalls, wherein one can enjoy with friends..
•It is moderate level trek, there are just two steep climbs one before the plateau , which should take around one hour ..
•Walking till the plateau takes around 3 hours..
•At plateau, you have to two alternatives either climb upto garbett point, here comes second steep climb, it should take you 30mins to reach top or take longer route through jungle to reach dasturi point if you don't wish to go to garbett point..
•One can click photographs from top... Soak in the natural beauty..
•Then head back to dasturi point through dense forest...
At dasturi point catch a sharing cab to neral station..
•The whole trek should take you 5hrs at max.

But you would certainly love every bit of it...

Garbett is said to be loved by all...it has become my personal favourite among sahyadris☺☺

•Most important, as I have always mentioned Proper trekking shoes, it gives you grip while walking through slippery path. It is indeed life saving equipment during treks..
• Keep yourself hydrated, to avoid cramps..drink water at regular intervals...
• If you are a seasoned trekker you can manage on your own, in case you have just started please go through some trusted travelling groups..
