Most of us have spent a lovely weekend at Matheran at some point. With the weather being amazing right now, night treks are what is making that side of the region so interesting.

Adventure Geek is hosting a night trek at Garbett Plateau, located on the south-west side of Matheran. The base village of Garbett Plateau is Bhivpuri, 71 kms away from Mumbai. The night trek to Garbett Plateau is through Dhom lake, water streams and even a involves a steep jungle trail. The duration of the trek is 3 hours, hence experienced trekkers should consider this.

The trek will cost you INR 650 per person, which includes travelling from Dasturi naka to Neral station and unlimited breakfast. 

If you want a tent, the charges are INR 400 for a 4-person tent, where you need to tell them at the time of booking. Also, don't forget to carry a torch, snacks, comfortable shoes, water and even a personal medical kit.
