About the Workshop
The five-hour hands-on workshop will give you an introduction to the basics of making and baking your own sourdough loaves at home. You’ll also learn how to start and maintain a sourdough starter; how to mix, knead and fold the dough; how to shape your loaf and finally, how to bake it at home.
The workshop will cover three types of bread
1. A plain Sourdough Loaf
2. Cardamom Buns &
3. Focaccia
Guest will leave with some starter of your own, the bread we’ve baked in the class and all the enthusiasm you need to get baking in your own home!
About Baker Alysha Aggarwal
Alysha Aggarwal is a baker, specialising in sourdough with 3 years experience in the field. She has previously worked at The Snapery, an artisan wholesale bakery and at Margot bakery in London. In June this year, she was invited to bake at Grani Futuri, a grain and bread festival held in Italy. She has also staged at a number of bakeries, in multiple countries.
