How Do I Get There?

Saputara is completely accessible by road. It’s a five hour drive from the city, and in case you don’t wish to drive all along, you can take a train till Nashik and drive after.

Going to Saputara is like entering nature’s womb. It’s beautiful! Offering a splendid view of the Sahyadris while surrounded by greenery all around and a gorgeous lake too, there are plenty of tourist attractions here. The clean and serene Saputara lake is located right in the centre of the place, so you can go here for to spend som relaxing time, or even go boating after 4pm.

There’s also a lake garden around. Given that there are small forest treks organised every so often, you could even opt for them. The sunset point at Saputara is very famous. You can get here by rope-way just a little before the sunset and watch the sky showcase those magnificent colours as it goes into dusk right before your eyes. There’s also the Gira waterfalls that are a a famous tourist attraction, as is the botanical garden, the Hatgadh fort {you’ll love it} and the townview point {it’s gorgeous}. There’s also the famous Nageshwar Temple that you could pay a visit to.

For adventure enthusiasts, apart from the treks there’s also paragliding, boating and many other activities to indulge in.
