Shizu San means hospitality in Japanese and this place did stay true to its meaning. A very neat and welcoming ambience with super polite staff. They did care to explain every individual about the food they served. Impressed with the warmth.
Drinks:
-Mogo Mogo Ice tea, which had a splendid aroma of this Japanese flower called Mogo Mogo, non-alcoholic people, this can be your poison.
-Spring Garden, a gin-based cocktail with the flavour of Jamun and infused with Lavender, people who like their cocktails to be mild, this drink is for you.
-Tom Yum Cup, a vodka-based cocktail infused with Kaffir lime, personally this was my favourite, very strong and aggressive flavour and it worked superbly with the vodka.
Starters:
-Edamame Petite Pois Truffle oil Dimsum, a light starter and not too dry
-Dynamite Shrimp Sushi, if you like Sushis, you will like it
-Pulled chicken bao, this was one dish which could have been skipped
-Sriracha Blush Veg Sushi, it was good
-Poached Chicken Dumplings, now this had to be the winner of the menu, hands down. These dumplings were just perfect and yes, spicy!
-Dragon Fire Chicken, crispy and spicy fried chicken with a dip, along with the chicken dim sums, these are a must-try
-Crispy Kung Pao Potato, average dish, have tasted better before
-Pathani Chicken Wings, spicy and hot, wings like they should be served, with a very different blend of Asian spices and a touch of curry leaves
-Crispy Shiitake Mushroom, vegetarians please try this, the mushrooms were full of flavour and was served with Barbeque sauce
Mains:
-Prawns in XO sauce served with steamed rice. Was a good try though, the portion size was good for two and tasted good as well.
Dessert:
-Tender coconut cheesecake
-Vanillas halo halo sundae
Overall, the food was superb.
