A new dining yacht, AB Celestial, is truly testing the waters as it opens up for the first time on the bay with a rooftop bar, 6 rooms to stay in and a café.

Aye, Aye, Captain

First the pod hotel, and now this – it seems like Mumbai is making use of all the space it can get, and calling more people aboard. AB Celestial is the first of its kind dining floatel that is set itself on Mumbai waters under the Bandra-Worli sea link.

Named after Aishwarya Bhende, this is a luxury yacht that has come into being in collaboration with Maharashtra Tourism Development and WB International Consultant.

All Aboard!

Originally made in Florida, AB Celestial is now docked at Bandra and is here to stay. It has four levels – the lowest one will have 5 bedrooms, which aren’t for general reservation, but can be booked if you rent out the space for a reception or party. Their restaurant, called the Celestial Café is on the first floor and will serve continental and European food including pizzas, flatbreads and the likes.

A level above is the banquet hall where a party with about a 100 people can be hosted. The most exciting section is the rooftop bar called Celestial Sky, where you can sit back, sip on a delicious cocktail and enjoy the waters and the sky all at once. The interiors of the yacht are all nautical-themed with different combinations of blue and white taking over the walls.

So, We're Saying...

Get a room, or a table couldn’t have a more luxurious connotation attached. The ship starts operations next week onwards.

Entry is by reservation only. Make your reservations by emailing them at
