Crave comfort food:
After the success of its first outlet in Prabhadevi, crave has come up with another outlet in Churchgate. The easiest way to get there is to reach the iconic Eros theatre and next to the famous Japanese restaurant Umame. As such the restaurant opens up early and closes around 11 pm, I feel its ideal to visit a place like this during the early lunch hours or say brunch time to enjoy some fresh meal with fresh and healthy juices.
Cleanse & Purify: The siblings, is what I like to call them, with one rich in beetroot and reddish & the other as cool as a cucumber, both really fresh & intriguing and has great essence and taste. Considering we are not used to healthy fresh fruit juices, this is not something which will suit everyone's palate.
Balsamic Vinaigrette Veg:- The right amount of onion with a sweetish taste to it brings the much-needed balance to the sourness of feta and lettuce especially if the proportion of any of those ingredients takes a toss. I felt the lettuce needed to be lesser on proportion as to the potato and cherry. Overall each component was fresh and tasted great. Highly recommended.
Spice Cottage cheese sandwich:- Justifies the name with a soft yet copious in quantity layered cottage cheese served with a composition of cheddar and peri-peri with cheddar making it medium spicy, just the way I was expecting it to be.
4 cheese Farmers market:- 1/2 of each portion of pizzas so that we get to try the different variations of pizza. 4 cheese or awesome foursome, was the winner by a mile no doubt. Emmenthal is the major difference if you compare it to its peers. REcommended
Pomodoro arabiata :- Pomodoro brought in the extra tanginess due to the presence of tomatoes. Rest the things are pretty straight forward. The balance makes arabiata deviate from its usual taste which is very hardly noticeable. A simple and customizable pasta.
Flourless Belgian chocolate cake:- A bit hard on the edges, probably because it was prepared much earlier. But rest was a smooth affair. Would highly recommend it!
