Whilst exploring the Natraj Market, we actually stumbled across these gorgeous bags next to the pavement. Out in the open, Kalyan of Kalyan Purse Wala sits outside Rajuja Jewellery on the boulevard outside the Natraj Market. Hung onto the grills of the shutter, we found ourselves gravitating towards this wonderful patch of colourful bags.
Though Rajuja Jewellery is shut, Kalyan tells us in case the shop reopens up, he will be setting up his shop nearby only. The bags are all brought in from Gujarat – as his family sells the same bags in Gujarat as well.
What We Love
The colourful bags in all shapes and sizes. We love how pretty and intricate the embroidery is on these bags. Inspite of these bags showing off their beautiful patterns, we were surprised to find out how cheap they were. The smallest sized bag cost INR 90, with bigger bags ranging from INR 170 and going up to INR 250.
Pair them up with a simple tee and jeans, or take it to one of the many weddings you maybe attending this season.
