Mad O Wat

Mad O Wat by hair stylist Sapna Bhavnani is a favourite in the city. Not only is it a cute salon on Pali Hill, but the hair stylists are tuned in well with the current rends and are very understanding.

In fact, the junior stylists are pretty affordable. It’s also a great place to go to for getting your hair colour {read more here} or edgy styles.

Salons

Shop 3, Maaz Centre, Opposite The Shop, Next to Pali Village Cafe, Bandra West, Mumbai

BBlunt

BBlunt by founded by Adhuna Bhabani-Akhtar and brother Osh Bhabani back in 2005 has been a game changer salon in terms of keeping up or even bringing in a wave of trendy hairstyles. BBlunt has a number of outlets now across the city, and we love it for its sense of security {the stylists really take care of us}.

Though it’s slightly expensive for a haircut, they do have junior hairstylists who’re pretty affordable. Do make sure to book an appointment in advance.

Happy In The Head

Happy In The Head by Avani Yashwin {who’s also the head stylist} is an absolutely adorable space in Khar. We love the salon for its decor {pretty fairy lights, yes}, feline friends that lounge in and around the salon and the stylists who are friendly and engaging. With a junior stylist, you can get a haircut for INR 800 and upwards but we do suggest booking an appointment in advance as they are generally quite busy.

#LBBTip: It’s a good salon for getting shorter haircuts, read your bob cuts and more.

Dessange Salon & Spa

Dessange hair salon though has multiple outlets in the city, we love the Bandra outlet. It’s definitely a luxurious salon and the stylists are super friendly in terms of suggesting haircuts and styles best suited for you.

The salon also has other facilities like waxing {Brazilian waxing and we highly recommend it} and hair colouring and so on.

This salon started off in Kemps corner and now has a few other outlets across the city. It’s one of the older high end salons of Mumbai. Juice is also one of more affordable salons in the city for the kind of service they offer.

Jean-Claude Biguine Salon and Spa {JCB} is a city favourite salon. This Parisian brand has really good stylists. Though the haircuts are slightly expensive, we recommend going here for the stylists.
