A homegrown brand, Soaps By Kadambari is as the name suggests, founded by Kadambari Gupte. A PR professional by training, Kadambari discovered a love for soap making over the last year that prompted her to turn her passion into a profession. Growing up with household remedies and ayurvedic traditions in her home, Kadambari was inspired by the ingredients used in traditional skincare, but with a modern format - soaps. What's unique about her soaps is that each batch is handmade by her using completely natural ingredients and no harmful chemicals or artificial fragrances. The majority of her soaps are made using cold-pressed coconut oil which is known to be nourishing for the skin, while a few variants are made with cold-pressed olive or castor oil. As they're chemical-free these soaps produce a low lather and gently cleanse the skin. Wondering what ingredients go into making her soaps so awesome? Think home-grown aloevera, dried rose petals, natural lemon zest that's dried in the sun, natural aromatic spices, and charcoal. Among the bestsellers, we found a curious combination that we'd love to try: Charcoal And Shea butter, Cinnamon Shea Butter and Rosemary Herb. Her catalogue also includes options like Cucumber Aloe, Saffron, Papaya, Sundried Rose Petal (we love how pretty this one looks!) and Turmeric Shea Butter.
