About two and a half hours away from Mumbai, getting to the farmstay by the road is the easiest option via the Mumbai-Pune highway. It is lying on the hinges of Marunji village and is about six kilometres away from Hijenwadi.

It’s a peaceful home away from home. Nestled in the lush green farm run by the Broome couple, it offers two gorgeous cottages decked up in the colonial style with posters beds, bamboo furniture with fresh flowers kept in the vases. For nature lovers they have two tree houses perfect for bird watching.

The farm also has a cute little nursery set up by Leela with a lot of Ayurvedic plants about. They have a small dairy on the farm usually with several milking Gir cows, and Holstein-Fresian crosses for anyone who’s looking for fresh organic milk everyday. In other words, it’s a gorgeous green oasis bustling with life and blooming with flaura and fauna that one rarely ever finds in the city.
