What Makes It Awesome

If you're reading this, you either love Middle Eastern cuisine or are a full-time foodie who's always looking to explore fun culinary experiences on their weekends. Well, in either case, you've landed at the correct destination. Mumbai folks, say hello to Diablo. Dramatic chandeliers, a blast of colours and vibrancy, and authentic Middle Eastern delicacies, this fine-dine has parked itself in one of the most lively hoods in the city - Lower Parel. In fact, this restaurant has been transformed from our favourite joint for Bollywood nights. Any guesses? Yep. Tamasha.

Mosaic themed bar counter, hints of demonic shapes and Egyptian Gods, leather tiles, gold arches - Diablo's Gothic, bold and contemporary interiors will leave you awestruck! [Tip: while it's LIT af during the night if you're looking capture the beauty for your 'gram, I'd recommend head for during the day time for some great shots and lighting]

Now, without much delay, digging right into what their well-curated menu which is highly inspired by local dishes of Afghanistan and Turkey. Start your lovely evening (or lunch/brunch) with their signature black hummus, which comes with a basket of different types of bread. Their pita bread is one of the softest and lightest I've had in a while. So, brownie points for that. Ah, and apart from hummus surely call for their Fatayer. This Lebanese dish has literally won my heart. Stuffed with spinach and cheese, these tiny pieces are what I'm going back for. These taste even better with the yummy dip that it's served with. Apart from these, you can munch on their Koobideh kebab, Meygoo Janoori (for prawn lovers) or their classic falafel.

While satiating your taste buds with these, sip on their handcrafted concoctions or simply sit by their majestic bar and enjoy the music.

When it comes to the main course, I opted for their spaghetti with a flavourful and Middle Eastern twist to it. So, this dish is literally marrying Italian and Middle Eastern. Best of both the world. If you're looking for a meaty dish, you can opt for their lip-smacking Kabuli pulao, Kleftiko, Feta Psiti or Gourmet Sabze Tagine. End your meal on a sweet note with their drool-worthy desserts. They've got four options including Let's Whip The Hazelnut, Apple And Walnut Surprise, Sticky Date Pudding and Tuskishmisu (highly recommend this one).

From a fancy dinner date to a boozy brunch, Diablo checks all our boxes- amazing ambience, 'grammable plating, lip-smacking food, great service and safety measures. So, when are you heading there?
