If you're wondering how to make this year end with a bang, there's something you must look forward to and register for immediately. There's a special heritage walk by No Footprints on December 29 at 5 PM that will take your through and let you explore the beautiful and festive Matharpacady, an erstwhile village tucked away in the by lanes of Mazagaon.
Matharpacady is an erstwhile East-Indian village that has been done up beautifully for Christmas and will continue to be in the same festive spirit till the new year begins.
Hansel Baptisa, your walk leader for the evening, is a resident of Matharpacady and has been actively involved in conserving the dwindling heritage of this precinct. He will take you around and together, you'll find yourself surrounded with beautiful fairy lights, stunning installations and festive decor. He'll share fascinating stories of his village which will end with a visit to his ancestral home where we'll sample some delicious festive treat.
What's great is that all the proceeds for the walk will be donated to charity. So not only will you have a fab experience, you'll also get a chance to do some good.
Meeting Point: The meeting point for the walk is Mumbai Darbar in Mazgaon
Price: INR 630
