Hermès has brought Silk Mix, a temporary installation inspired by the elements of a vinyl record store to its Fort location in the city.
The store has turned into a place that is all about browsing, listening and discovering; it's a place where men's silk scarf artwork is a part of the record sleeves and tie and dye designs that adorn the cassette tape covers.
This thematic record store offers a variety of scarves and ties that are hanging on walls, like records displayed on the picture rails of a music store or even stacked in crates, LP-style.
Each record or 'scarf' is linked to an extract from runway show soundtracks from the last eight years of the men's collection. Each cassette or 'tie' is accompanied by a track released in 2018.
You can enjoy looking at Hermès designs with music adding to the chipper atmosphere.
After Madrid, Rome, New York, Seoul and now Mumbai, Silk Mix will continue to travel to other cities on its global tour.
