What Makes It Awesome

A village located about 25 kms away from Mahabaleshwar, Tapola is fondly called ‘Mini Kashmir’, owing to its rustic charm and fascinating views of Koyna and Solshi rivers.

Not only does it offer spectacular views, but it’s also a hub for trekkers to dabble with terrains. There’s Vasota Fort, located within Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary to trek to, strawberry farms and nurseries of Gerberra to be strolled at and centuries-old temples to be visited. Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani offer Konkani fare and you’ll be surprised with what the surrounding villages have to offer. If you're planning to stay there for a night or two, they've got couple of options for that as well. – there’s agro villages, river camps and small homestays you can check out.

Getting here from Mahabaleshwar is pretty easy, you can hop onto a cab or even a bus. Locals here are helpful so you can just ask. And it's about 250 km from Mumbai and approximately 5-hour drive. We'd say start your journey early morning to avoid traffic.
