It's one of the most iconic landmarks standing tall and proud in Fort. Almost every tourist has this place top on their list when they visit the city. And, Mumbaikars pass this historic spot at least once a month. Yup, you guessed it right! We're talking about the historic landmark - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, which was built back during the British era.
Called as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (formerly Prince of Wales Museum), the museum preserves a diverse collection of approximately 70,000 timeless objects including precious miniature and oil paintings, sculptures, coins, European decorative art and paintings, Far-Eastern art, Buddhist artifacts Indian decorative art etc. So, if you're a history buff and have not yet explored this museum (or just want to applaud its beauty again), we are here to take you there. The engaging highlights tour will be conducted by the museum's Education Officer, Ms. Bilwa Kulkarni and will present the visitors a unique view into the rich and diverse history and masterpieces showcased in the museum.
