What Makes It Awesome

Hitchki - Groove to Bollywood inspired food. A perfect place that truly is an amalgamation of Bollywood, delicious Indian food and music. The moment you enter this place, you are awestruck by the electrifying ambience.
The ambience is thoughtfully balanced with comfortable seating space and not making it too congested.
DJ wale babu played amazing songs and they were indeed well remixed. At first, the songs were all modern and then it switched to classic retro songs with a modern touch of musical melodies. You just can't stop dancing to the tunes. Visit this place in late evening and you will love it even more. The menu is super extensive and humongous. Specially handcrafted delicacies are perfect for your palate and soul. Keeping the traditional Indian flavours intact while adding that Hitchki twist. I was amused to read some quirky food dish names.
Here is what I had :

✨Appetizers✨

Pav Bhaji Satakli - One of Mumbai's most favourite gets a complete makeover. We Mumbaikars are in absolute love with this spicy delicacy. Known for a perfect blend of veggies and spices, we call it as the Pav Bhaji. While at Hitchki they name it as Pav Bhaji Satakli. Such a unique name so was the preparation and presentation of it. Never thought that I could be served in a different way. A cone is made of ajwain and used instead of Pav. The cone is made crisp and holds that prominent taste of Ajwain. A mild but sharp flavour of Ajwain spice make it more appetizing. They are blended as cone and are filled with hot and spicy Bhaji. The Bhaji is made of fresh veggies like capsicum, onions, tomatoes, peas and potatoes. They are all mashed together and spiced with Indian spices. Cooked till they are nice and perfect. Once the cones are filled, it is topped with nylon sev, finely chopped onions and a lemon slice. You are all set to squeeze the lemon and savour it hot. The crispy crust of cone compliments the hot semi-dry Bhaji. Such a delicacy it was! Highly Recommended 🤘🏻

Mere Tandoori Momos Aayenge - Thankfully they came to me on time! This south Asian dumpling is trending like no other quick bite in India. Popular across the Indian subcontinent, these healthy flavour dumplings are served with different sauces and dips. Now-a-days you can actually have several versions of it as they have unique stuffings made of different ingredients. The classic ones are made of finely grated veggies while the other versions have paneer or chicken. They are either steamed or fried, so you can opt anything as per your choice and taste. While my love for tandoor grilled food couldn't stop me from ordering the tandoori Momos. They were marinated with a spicy mix tandoori masala and steamed and charcoal roasted. They are steamed till the Momos get that mix all over it. Served along with dips like green apple relish and spicy peanut sauce. Have them steaming hot and savour all those burst of flavours.
Highly Highly Recommended 🤘🏻

✨Mains✨

Mai Tumhare Tadke Ki Dal Banne Wali Hu - When at Hitchki, do as hitchkiens do. Every delicacy they serve holds a lot of magic and drama. Magic that will leave you awestruck. This classic delicacy was served in one of the most unique way. The yellow dal is made dhaba style with a perfect blend of spices and herbs along with it. It is then topped with a Tadka that adds much smoky flavour to this thick, rich and delicious Dal. The Tadka consist of pure ghee which makes it even more flavourful. This classic Dal is served with tandoori jeera rice and they compliment each other very well. The jeera is nicely roasted in ghee till they become golden brown and then mixed with long grain quality rice. The Dal is placed over a container filled with dry ice that emits through it and adds value to the overall presentation. Completely magical and divine. Such a delicious comfort food.

✨Dessert✨

Banofee Bomb - Not very often I opt for a banana based dessert. But here after reading the description about it in their menu, I was curious to try this combination of bananas and chocolate. The bananas are diced into small pieces and are caramelized. Fresh well baked banana cake is also cut into small pieces and added. Topped with more of salted caramel the entire dessert melts down unlocking the vanilla ice cream at the center. A huge scoop of vanilla Ice-cream is covered with chocolate coating which is dark and rich in flavour. While the banana adds natural sweetness and health benefits to this dessert. As the name suggests, it opens wide open as the hot sauce it poured over it. The combination of different ingredients together make it an ideal dessert.

Overall this place is heaven for food lovers. Absolute no compromise on quality and quantity. While the food presentation is something worth remembering for long. Couldn't actually forget all that magical presentation. Still mesmerized thinking of the unique names and the preparation done. I would like to highly appreciate the staff who are one their toes so that you get a memorable happy dining experience. You can see them enjoying their work which adds that positive vibes to the environment. Right from food to music, creativity to drinks, service to dining experience; everything was to the point. Will surely visit again and again and again.
