Gooey, Cheesy Grilled Sandwiches Your Kryptonite? Up Your Game With These DIY Kits From Fromagerie

The Fromagerie

What Makes It Awesome

We stumbled upon the Fromagerie's grilled cheese sandwiches at The Mahindra Blues Fest and once again at Spoken Fest 2020. And let me tell you, one bite into their gourmet cheese sandwiches made us want several more!

Now the fact is that we are currently stuck at home. With little chance of catching their awesome grilled gourmet sandwiches at a festival anytime soon. So when we spotted them on Instagram and found out that they were serving up this deliciousness to our doorstep, we were pretty excited.

We grilled (pardon the pun) founder Nuzha Ebrahim for the deets and here's what we found out. In light of the COVID situation, Fromagerie is making and delivering (via Swiggy and Scootsy if you live in the radius and WeFast if you live further) their DIY Kits. The Kits are assembled in Nuzha's home kitchen with safety protocols in place. Here's what you get when you order: 1 loaf of Pain de Mie (7 odd sandwiches) and the filling of choice from their menu - Signature 4 Cheese Blend (INR200), Sloppy Buffalo Style Pulled Chicken with Kimchee Veggies and Gorgonzola Cream Cheese (INR300), 4-Cheese Chili Cheese Toast (INR200) and Tomato  Caponata with Summer Grilled Veggies and Smoked Scarmoza (INR250).

They'll package the ready-to-assemble ingredients so you can toast up a storm as soon as it gets to you. Really all you've got to do is make your sandwich, slather with butter (and we mean slather well!) and toast on a hot tawa till it's golden and the insides are all melty (just like us at the sight of the sandwich).

You can reach out to them on DM on Instagram for any additional details. Happy Grilling, folks!

Pro-Tip

All the fillings and breads can be safely stored in the fridge for 2-4 days but should you need to store it longer, they can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 weeks as well.
