Craving Mexican Food? Head Here In Lower Parel For Unique 'Burrito Bowls'

The House of Chipotle {THC} comes to town as its opens up its third outlet, following two in Bandra and Andheri. If you’re in the mood for good old Mexican, Lower Parel is where you get your chilli fix.

Started off by Chef Pranay Pathak and his partners in crime – Siddhant Thakur, Tanveer Abdi {owner of Biona, The World Café in Bandra}, and Nicholas Tyson – THC is all about bringing authentic Mexican street flavours to the people of Mumbai. With their in-house chipotle sauce {also their USP} a.k.a smoked chilli, THC is all about rice bowls, burgers, cheesy nachos, and a range of other Mexican dishes including a host of delicious barbeque paninis {paneer and chicken both}.

Their Chipotle rice bowl comprises of at least 11 types of sauces {ranging from mild to really spicy}, along with rice beans, chipotle chilli, and fresh guacamole, corn salsa and every other Mexican ingredient you’d be expecting. It’s a Mexican food fest all wrapped up on one menu.

With a very basic drinks section – you can go for the regular sodas, and iced teas – just something to sip on whilst taking in on the spicy Mexican flavours.

Get your sombrero on and instead of hitting up the suburbs, just hit up The House of Chipotle in Lower Parel. Who knows, maybe Mexico isn’t really all that far {just a train or a cab away}.

Starting December, their Marol branch is expected to launch delivery as well – so keep your eyes and ears out for more updates.
