Meat-lovers, if you haven’t been to the Hungry Duck At Pali yet then it’s time to put on those loose pants and head there because your stomach may just explode with their awesome delicacies.

Now, it wouldn’t be right to say that Bandra’s newest {m}eatery is giving its old favourite, Imbiss tough competition, but it will be absolutely safe to say that it’s about time that even Imbiss takes note of this one. Hungry Duck At Pali is a little older than six months, but what a pleasant discovery it was for us.

Nestled inside Pali Village {right at the beginning of the lane opposite Punjab Sweets}, The Hungry Duck At Pali {it’s obviously in Bandra West}, is a quaint and tiny eatery- with about three-four tables- and walls full of doodles. But what it does well is cook up some mean meat. To begin with, try their Crazy Burger {for INR 300}, which in all honesty is a delight for those who want to have it all – ham, bacon, salami, chicken, egg and more, all in the form of one gigantic burger. Up next, their Messi Burger {for INR 230}, which is actually messy and huge, is a mix of chicken/ steak, cooked in their in-house sauce and is oh-so divine. Their roast duck {for INR 425}, which was well-cooked and served with delicious mashed potatoes and veggies, is one of their more popular dishes.

Some of their other hits are their Goan sausage and garlic bread, grilled chicken with bacon, and fish fingers, among a variety of other dishes. They make a special Give Me More Hungry Duck {for INR 2,370}, which is made by order only and is basically a full roasted duck with mash potatoes and sautéed veggies, ideal for a big family lunch. Their other speciality, which we loved, was the Stuffed Roast Chicken {for INR 500}, which is generously filled with bacon, sausage, ham, salami, beans and more, and is again, made by order only.

Vegetarians, you’ll won’t be disappointed either. They have a huge variety of vegetarian dishes, too, and their pasta, Aglio Olio {for INR 170} has copious amounts of cheese in it and is highly recommended.

So, We’re Thinking…

For those who want to dig in and make the most of a beautiful spread of non-vegetarian dishes- all priced so well- this is where you guys should be. And guess what? They’re soon expanding to Malad {work is underway, people}, so for all those in that part of the city, you can wait just a bit longer in order to avoid the travel.
