What Makes It Awesome?

Rajbari Rasoi - Lokhandwala, Andheri. A hidden gem in the busy streets of Lokhandwala. An authentic Bengali place serving a huge variety of fishes, chicken and even lovely vegetarian food. The outdoor seating is very beautiful in the evening time giving you some positive vibes to spend a long time with family. So started with nimbu pani as the beverage there. This was on a sweeter side with fresh lemon to balance the taste there.

In starters, I tried
Fish Chop: Made of bhakti fish with the lovely and authentic spices of Bengal giving it a speciality. These are deeply fried and served in 2 pieces. A good option here to go in starters.

Mocha Chop: A vegetarian starter made of some banana flower accompanied by the Bengali spices giving it a unique taste.

Kaanchkola kofta: The best vegetarian dish here in the main course to go for. Slightly sweet. Made of boiled bananas round and dipped in the Bengali sauces giving it a rich taste

Chicken Kasha: Again most recommended and best seller there. A good amount of chicken along with the thick spicy gravy served. Both of the gravies were accompanied by Lucchi - A lovely Bengali puri which is deep-fried but is very very light in weight.

So ended with the dessert named Rosogulla Payesh. 2 pieces of rasgullas dipped in some lovely kheer/ milk (kind of rabdi but not exactly rabdi) along with some Kaju and saffron from the top of it.

How Much Did It Cost?

₹1,000 - ₹3,000
