The iconic fine dining restaurant in Colaba, Indigo is celebrating their 18th anniversary since they opened up back in 1999. To commemorate the anniversary, for a day on May 25 they are going back to their 99′ menu and the pricing they had when they opened up first.

In 2017, you’ll be going back to the 90s, more specifically 18 years back of flashback. On May 25, Indigo Colaba will let its patrons come to the restaurant and every dish on the menu will be prices as to what it was 18 years back. Indigo being a fine dining restaurant, this is an affordable deal for people who’ve been a bit hesitant to make their booking owing to splurging menu.
They will also be launching a new menu on May 26.
Why Should I Go?
It’s a classy restaurant in an enviable location in Colaba. There’s charm, nostalgia and for a day, affordable pricing for you to finally go and check out this place.
The menu for the day will include dishes like beef carpaccio with Munnar spices for INR 325. On a regular day, this dish will cost INR 825 {unbelievable right}. Then there’s your regular Indigo beef wellington {INR 450}, chocolate forest {INR 250}, matcha pannacotta {INR 210}, almond Daquoise sable {INR 210}, and so much more. These dishes are exclusive of taxes.
All of these dishes will be priced ridiculously cheap, and all we can think of is our finest clothes and joy in our hearts whilst dining at such a beautiful place.
Anything Else?
Indigo is a beautiful place for dinner dates, family reunions or just a nice squad catching up. There’s light music involved, the sea breeze from Gateway {especially for their rooftop section} and of course, on this particular day it also goes easy on the pocket. All you need to do is call up, reserve a table for yourself, and you’re good to go.
