Visited this place pre lockdown. This is classic Iranian cafe and not to be confused with a parsi cafe. Ambience is all vintage, including tables and seating arrangements, it's q small and cozy place visited by mostly office goers and college going crowd due its close proximity from marine lines station.
In frame - Chicken croquettes and chicken farcha
1) Chicken croquettes (4/5): crisp and properly coated outer layer. The filling blends in properly with the coating and is fried perfectly without any excess oil. The taste is simply subtle with perfect combination, however there is scope for improvement with the amount of filling as it was majorly filled with mashed potatoes in it.
2) Chicken farcha - (4.5/5) This is one of the signature dish of this cafe and is served hot with pav. The chicken is tender, soft and juicy and spices are subtle and blends in and just takes the entire level garnished with the salli on top. This is sure to satisfy your taste buds and one to experience on your own, you are surely going to love it.
Final verdict, definitely recommended for its vintage ambience, quality, taste and portions of food and the cost to food ratio. A thumbs up experience 👍✨
