It's Summer. With the sun mercilessly raising the temperature around us, what is that one thing which gives us comfort and joy and makes summers bearable? Mango! And imagine, what you got to eat an entire Thali of special mango dishes, an ode to the King of Fruits! Rajdhani is cooking up an extensive fare of exquisite dishes prepared specially as a homage to Mango!
This delectable Thali has more than 30 individual dishes in it and more interestingly, in this Aamlicious Festival at Rajdhani, there are around 10 dishes specifically made of mangoes.
When we entered the restaurant, we received an amazing welcome with some aarti, tilak on the forehead and aam papdi as the sweet. The staff is really warm and will overfeed you like your grandmas when you visit them.
Walking you through the Thali, the mango dishes were:
Mango Dal Dhokli: a traditional Gujarati preparation of gram roti in Dal flavoured with mango
Kairi ki Lonji: a Rajasthani dish which is sweet and spicy somewhat like a murabba
Mango Khandvi: delectable Gujarati Khandvi with the extra goodness of mango
Mango Jalebi: What can go wrong with Mango flavoured jalebi with Rabdi! This is a must eat!
Aam Chunda: A traditional pickle made with raw mangoes

Aam Shrikhand: Rich Shrikhand with Fresh Mangoes is definitely a must-have!
Aam Panna: a typical cooler for summer, this drink freshens you up.
