What Is It?

The Jagran Film Festival is a traveling film festival which screens films across different genres from all around the globe. It started its journey in Delhi in July and is reaching Mumbai in a week's time to show over 200 brilliant movies.

Who Is It For?

This is for everyone who loves films {both Indian and international}, and would love to be immersed in an environment which is all about watching, appreciating and discussing movies. It is also for those who may not always call themselves a ‘movie-buff’ but are interested in seeing more, knowing more and running into celebrities.

This is a one-of-a-kind film festival which also includes sessions, workshops discussions with the cast and crew of a few select films. The movies shown here can be old-time favourites or newer ones, and includes various themes,  They’re showing movies such as Monsoon Wedding and Road To Istanbul {French}.

If Indian cinema is where your true love lies, you can watch {or re-watch} movies such as Waiting, Neerja, Talvar, Aligarh, or Chaturam {Malayalam}, Sairat {Marathi} or even Cholai {Bengali}. Plus, don’t worry about being flummoxed by a language you don’t know, there will be subtitles in English for all the films.
