What Makes It Awesome

Beer lovers, here's something new in town for you to try: Japanese Rice Beer. Foo has launched Japanese-style craft rice beer and we're pretty excited to find out more (not to mention add to our Friday Night-In plans!)

We've been fans of Foo and their delicious dim sums for a while now. But the duo behind the brand, the Tham Bros, are back with something new and fresh this time around in a collab with Great State Aleworks, and that's rice beer. The rice beer or Foo Brew (catchy name, isn't it!) is available in growlers at Foo and Koko for take-away.

If you aren't familiar with rice beer, here's what to expect: a clean, crisp brew in a golden hue. We hear it goes down easy and has a mildly bitter aftertaste, a hint of sweetness and a wonderful aroma. The rice concentration keeps this light-bodied and refreshing. We're planning to pair this up with our Asian fare the next time we order in - it's said to go great with those bold, Asian flavours.

Where to order: Foo And Koko

Price: INR 750/litre

Shelf Life: 48 Hours

Pro-Tip

The take-away growlers are available at Foo and Koko outlets across Mumbai
