What Makes It Awesome?

We recently visited Sandoitchi on a weekday for lunch. It’s a two storey place with really open and comfy seating space. Pretty chill and laid back vibe to the place. You get free WiFi and power stations available on each table, which is basically a must these days. The aroma of freshly baked bread spreads around the room which is just so soothing.

We started off with the Watermelon Iced Tea and the Khatta Masala Iced Tea. The watermelon one was a bit disappointing but the Khatta Masala one was really cool and refreshing.

Coming to the food, we got ourselves the Max Mex Sandoitchi, The Dagwood and an Open Hummus. The Max Mex was simply spectacular. The bean patty, the veggies and the sauces were just a bomb of flavours which complemented each other perfectly. The bun they used for this one was just so soft and fresh.

The Dagwood though was like your ordinary veggie sandwich and can be skipped. Next up was the Open Hummus and oh my god, it was delicious. Firstly, lovely presentation and secondly, that hummus was simply out of this world. The whole pieces of roasted chickpeas with the hummus was a masterstroke. You get extra hummus on the side and we just couldn’t have enough of it.

After these amazing sandwiches, we opted for the Pizookie for dessert. Two words for it, Mind Blown. Pan-sized cookie served in an actual pan, topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with dried blueberries and cranberries. The cookie was just perfect with a gooey centre and a slight crunch to the sides. This is a must-have dessert over here.
