We’re going to jump straight into what we have planned for you for the 30th March weekend—The Kala Ghoda Precinct Walk, in association with Walkitecture to help you explore this iconic Mumbai neighbourhood like never before. Starting at the famous Kala Ghoda statue, architect Nikhil Mahashur will introduce you to the Kala Ghoda’s many heritage buildings like the Westside building, Sassoon Library, Prince of Wales Museum, and the more modern buildings like the coffee shops and the BSE building. This is as close as one can get to time travelling, as you witness Mumbai’s history meeting the present at most modern and the oldest buildings together. You can lose yourself in a world of eclectic architectural styles, local legends and myths, and engross yourself in stories you’ve never heard before. The walk begins early in the morning and is sure to make you witness Mumbai and fall in love with it all over again. Sounds good?
