Situated in Ahmednagar district, Kalsubai is the highest peak in the Sahyadri mountain range and right at the summit is the temple of the Kalsubai goddess. Once you’ve reached the top, you get a great view of the entire mountain range. To the north of the mountain, you get to see forts and to the south, you see Harishchandragad and Ghanchakkar (what a name!) The view from the summit is breathtaking, and it can get foggy on the top at around 6 AM.
