Tired of eating produce bought from the supermarket and looking to make a shift to a healthier, more eco-conscious lifestyle? If yes, then this workshop organised by Earthoholics may just be what you're looking for.
This Sunday, all you gardening enthusiasts get a chance to exercise your green thumb at Our Lady of Salvation School, Dadar. Organised by Earthoholics, this workshop is all set to teach you how to grow your own microgreens in an urban environment.
The workshop takes place from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday afternoon and it's sure to be an information-packed three hours. You'll learn all about microgreens and how to grow them, about their nutritional benefits, how to care for them and water them, their culinary uses, how to use them and also how to grow your own herbs, methi, wheatgrass and more. They'll also make sure you get a starter kit of your own and tea during break time.
The workshop is in the afternoon, so you may want to carry a cap. Do wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as it is a gardening workshop.
