We hardly get time to spend with nature. Because the little amount of it that Mumbai has, get's dominated by the city's pollution and traffic. Or maybe we're too busy to value the greens. But let's change that on March 1. The Breathing Art Terrariums is conducting a Kokedama String Garden workshop for you from 12 PM onward, and here's why you must attend it.
Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, and if you have a terrace (in Mumbai) then you really must sign up for this workshop. It caters to teach you how to make a Kokedama, and hang them on your terrace, or spruce up your living space with the tiny pots.
You only need to pay INR 1,000 that's inclusive of ingredients and all the paraphernalia required to create a Kokedama, instructions and teachings, and you also get to take the plants home with you. So enroll for this 2-hour session to create something, all by yourself, and deck up your space. Trust us, there's no better way to utilize a weekend than to indulge in some DIY.
