Tacos And Beers, Anyone? Sammy Sosa Is Our Go-To For A Chill Evening

One of the city’s first Mexican joints, Sammy Sosa is still a favourite when it comes to delicious food and fabulous drinks {and not too bad on the pocket too}.

You’ve gotta love a place that has a great ambience, lovely music and super tasty food, right? Sammy Sosa brings back memories of going her with our buddies and enjoy some delicious Mexican food and drinks. Even today, this restaurant is a favourite of most locals and the old-timers, too, make it point to visit often. They have lovely outdoor seating and WiFi, too, and we hear if the waiting is really long, you may just be treated with a free dessert.

The restaurant also serves continental and Italian and the options are many, so feel free to explore. But in our opinion, you have to start your meal with their delicious, cheesy nachos or the ‘whacko tacos’. Follow that with some enchiladas, chilly lamb, ‘the victory toast’ {a heavenly preparation with chicken and cheese} or anything else that seems enticing {it will be good, we’re sure}. Vegetarians, there’s no less variety for you guys, so let yourself loose.

When it comes to the drinks, it’s all about those beers here. There’s a huge variety, so making a choice can take a while.
