What Makes It Awesome

There's nothing more pleasing to the eyes than a beautifully made cake, and especially one that we can eat. Vahishta Zandbaf of the Tiernom Patisserie in Colaba is one such pastry chef, and cake magician who not just bakes funny and quirky cookies, and cupcakes, but also creates pieces of art.

Vahishta is a cake designer, pastry chef and an artist {as she describes herself on her Instagram account}. Just go to her Instagram account, and find the most beautiful cakes out there. Do they deserve to belong in a cake museum if such a thing were to exist? YES, and yes!

We found vanilla cookies with animal designs painted on them {with edible paint}, gorgeous intricate two-three tier cakes, and more. Vahishta also uses a lot of edible paint and crushed rock candy to create designs, and glittery effects inside the cakes.

What Could Be Better?

The cakes are definitely high-end, and so are priced accordingly. But we think for a special occasion, and events, a little bit of splurge never hurts anyone.

What's My Pro Tip?

Make sure to call up in advance to place your order.

Anything Else?

If you've managed to make through this without salivating, well done. And now that we have you hooked, let us tell you that she is open to customizing cakes, cookies and what not. From wedding and engagements cakes to anniversary and birthday cakes, if you have something coming up which you'd like to commemorate well, check the patisserie out.

As bizarre, or quirky it maybe, if you have a design in mind, she will make it a reality for you. A regular customized cake would start INR 2,500 upwards and can be picked up or delivered across Mumbai {with additional charges}.

You can get in touch with her on 098925 61953, or email her at { tiernompatisserie@gmail.com }.
