Love Leaf Café, Wagle Estate, Thane West

Ambience : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food : ⭐⭐⭐

Quantity : ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2

SOT rating : ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2

Situated at The Thane Club, Love Leaf Cafe looks right out of a fairytale!

Blue waters, yellow lights, floral decoration, this café has ticked all the boxes for your perfect Instagram post! The café is essentially a food truck with seating arrangements on either side of it. Kudos to the team for their attention to detail in terms of the ambience.

This place certainly passes the vibe check! ✨

Let's have a look at what we tried here :

Frappe : This consisted of a chilled strong shot of coffee. However, the consistency was very thin and not up to the mark.

We hope the team works on this.

Butter chicken Panini : Pulled chicken topped over a layer of mint mayonnaise and lettuce sandwiched between a buttery Toasted Ciabatta bread, served with a side of fries and coleslaw. The bread was slightly hard, however the dish was full of flavour. Loved the mint mayonnaise and butter chicken combination!

Paneer Fajita : Crunchy tacos filled with pan tossed fajitas, salsa verde and drizzled with sour cream.

Absolutely loved the crunch on the tacos along with the flavourful salsa sauce and veggies

Pink sauce Spaghetti with chicken and mushrooms : Our all time favourite pink sauce pasta with a roasted chicken and mushrooms, served with garlic bread.

This was creamy and tangy at the same time! The portions were good, however the spaghetti was slightly chewy.

Paneer Masala Melt Burger : Toasted pink bun stufffed with fried harissa paneer steak, tomato, lettuce and cheese.

Served with a side of fries and coleslaw.

The burger was quite flavourful however the bun was dry and flaky.

Tikka Mikka Chicken Pizza : This dish wasn't great.

The pizza was dry and there were hardly and toppings or cheese on the pizza.

Hope the management takes this into consideration.

Butterscotch and caramel thickshake : This was far from a thickshake. It was extremely thin and had flavour just of butterscotch syrup.

We hope the team at Loveleaf Café takes considerate steps towards improving the quality of the beverages served.

PS : Try planning your visit in the evening, since they switch on the yellow lights only after 6.30 pm
