If you've been to concerts, you know how crucial it is to have good food paired with your favourite music. I, personally, at concerts set on huge grounds, look for delectable food that satisfies my hunger after walking and dancing for hours. It's a complementary experience in itself when both comfort and experimental food are part of a music festival. I am much excited about Lollapalooza India for we've had a preview of the food park set at their debut festival in India.

Last week, we set out to grab a bite of specially curated dishes by Bombay's most iconic food brands for Lollapalooza India in a close-knit event at the BookMyShow office. Here's all the tea on what you'll be experiencing at the grand concert.

With four themed lanes, the festival will feature 60 food brands with each brand offering one exclusive ‘Lollapalooza’ dish specially for you, apart from their usual menu. Here are the food lanes of Lollapalooza that you'll get to discover and devour as your favourite artists play their music.

Mumbai Local Lane: As the name suggests, it will have Mumbai-style street food such as Tibb's Frankie, The J, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, and more.

Lolla Around The World Food Lane: Featuring the best of international cuisines, desserts and beverages, this lane will have brands like Good Flippin' Burgers, Sforno - Bakehouse & Pizzeria, Brownie Cottage and more

Lolla Grub Shub Lane: A treat for fusion food lovers, the brands on this list will whip out new concepts for you. The line-up includes brands like I’m Wholesome India, Eat Confetti, Lil Gamby and more.

Lolla On Wheels: This lane will offer Mumbai's favourite food carts culture. The brands wheeling on this lane will be Theka Coffee, Bombay Food Truck, Cheelizza and more.

Now coming to all that we had the pleasure of tasting! The Paloozaa Palangtod (Theka Coffee), The Palooza Combo (Tibb's Frankie), Caramel Popcorn Flavoured Coffee (DOPE), Lolla Waffle Cheese Cones (I’m Wholesome India), and much more made us count days to the actual event. We cannot wait to have these wholesome treats at the two-day concert.

After travelling to various cities, from Chicago to France, Lollapalooza is making its way to India for the first time. Co-produced by BookMyShow, the multi-genre music festival will be making a debut in Mumbai in a two-day event, from 28 to 29 January 2023 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. The attendees will experience music from their favourite artists on four different stages at the festival. The line-up of 40 artists will include performances from Imagine Dragons, Cigarettes After Sex, AP Dhillon, Prateek Kuhad, The Strokes, Diplo, Greta Van Fleet, and more. The amalgamation of music and an exclusive food arena will let you have a culture-rich music festival experience.

Starting a conversation about eco-friendly music festivals, Lollapalooza India will take the best sustainable measures through #LollaForChange. Right from set-up, production, food and all the way until showtime, the festival will adopt several measures. This includes waste management, zero garbage, reducing single-use plastic and managing food waste. Throughout the festival, the beverage brands will be using reusable cups made from crop waste and eliminating plastic water bottles. To be conscious of the environment while experiencing entertainment will set an example for the music festival world.
