What Is It?

The second edition of Appa Arts Festival is taking place from March 9-13. Graphic designer Karthikeyan Ramachandran, brainchild, the festival is dedicated to his father, Mr. K. N. Ramachandran. It’ll be held at Kamshet, near Pune. It’s about 20km from Lonavala and easily accessible from the city. This year there are exhibitions, workshops and few interactive sessions with the artistes as well.

A few names that you’ll get to see at the festival are Zoya, Your Chin, Lakuna, Amy & Tru Logic, Bobby Friction, EZ Riser ann many more. Although the first day is reserved for artists {March 9} you can get yourself a season pass for INR 500 {from March 10-12}. March 13 has a separate ticket for INR 500 that gives you access to the Holi celebrations.

How Do I Get There?

It’s about 20 kms away from Lonavala so all you need to do is hop on to a bus fro, the city or take the Pune train from CST. You’ll have to take a local to get to Kamshet. If you’re driving down, make a road trip out of it. If you’re carpooling, make some friends.
