After successfully making us drool over the food at Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra, Farzi Cafe, Pa Pa Ya and MasalaBar, Zorawar Kalra is now ready to quench our thirst with his latest offering. KODE is the newest addition to the buzzing Kamala Mills in Lower Parel and here’s why you should head to this bar.

Yes, there’s something new to look forward to everyday in this city. having said that, Kode isn’t just “yet another bar”. A cuisine agnostic modern ‘freestyle’ bar and kitchen, KODE is located at Kamala Mills and and offers a unique and specially curated cocktail tasting menu {that pairs cocktails course-wise}. And not just that- it also has the largest selections of whiskey in India along with a fantastic range of spirits such as gin, vodka and craft beer.

The cocktails are all heady and uniquely mixed and wonderfully presented, making them oh-so-appealing and irresistible. We’re told the menu will comprise some of the most savoured dishes from around the world, but of course, with a twist. Some of the signature dishes here include the 18-hours cooked lamb shanks, Miso marinated black cod, avicado carpaccio, homemade churros, etc. And while you munch on these yummies, get your alcohol kick from some boozy mixes such as the old fashioned, liquid root, pearl of the Caribbean, etc. All the drinks are priced between INR 450- INR 700.

The place is beautifully designed to please your eyes. We love the well-lit insides that are a perfect combination of stonework, concrete and wood.
