Majghar is located at lalbaug near ganesh gully. Malghar serves maharastrian cusine (mostly malvani).
To reach here is very easy for e.g ( bike,cab,buses). If you’re come by train get down to the parel station and take a cab.
Talking about the ambience its stunning!! The moment you enter the restaurant you will get the wow feeling. You will definetly feel like home. Its just wow !
Coming the food majghar serves seafood as it’s a seafood restaurant. So will get to taste Konkani style seafood.
First we tried thecha kolambi ( prawns) tossed in butter with garlic,coriander and indian spices. Taste was spicy and sour. Size of prawns was big enough. 6pcs for 400bucks. Rating :- 3.5/5
Next we tried kolambi thali (prawns thali) and paplet thali (pomfret) seafood thali’s and komdiwade thali (which is actually chicken thali) just the wade ( breads) is different rest all is same
Kolambi thali was for 475rupees which is bit overated. Kolambi thali with bhakri (type of indian bread) with kolombi masala (prawns masala) kolambi curry (prawns curry) and masala javla ( dried baby prawns tossed in spices with chopped onion,coriander), solkadi and steamed rice. Taste was good but it was not that spicy so you can ask for them to add some spicyness to it ! Rating :- 4/5
Paplet thali was for 485 rupees size of paplets of good enough. Comes with bhakri, paplet curry, paplet fry, solkadi and steamed rice. Fried paplet was good same it was less spicy. But then it was fresh fish and was a good decision to go with paplet thali. Rating :- 4/5
Komdiwade thali 475rupees which is I think too much overated. Difference is just the bread ( which is wada) rest all is same as normal chicken thali with any other restaurants. Same it’s has chicken curry, solkadi and steamed rice. Taste was ok ok but the it’s bit expensive for chicken thali. Rating :- 3.5/5.
