Rassasy By Barcelos is the newest entree at the lovely JW Orb and how you’d love coming back for more. While the Orb seems to be seeing a lot of party places and catering to them, Rassasy has made its stand with its vibe.
Rustic Spanish interiors, Cocktail menu and the food is given a very Mexican/Spanish touch. They serve some of their spicy sauces with the dishes like the Very Peri. Peri-Peri, Supa Peri, which you need to look out for while you dine in.
Started with the whiskey-based cocktails,
-Old Fashioned which came in strong and nice. The other one which was a subtle blend of cranberry with the whiskey. Good take on both.
-Crunchy Cheese Poppers was a great take for all the mozzarella and spicy lovers in the house. Very well done and just about the right fried texture too.
-Vegetarian Slider platter was a mixture of four mini buns: charcoal, beetroot and two normal of wheat and white base buns. Filling of crunchy lettuce, patty and mayo do great.
-Nachos went in well with the drinks and the mayo sauce.
-Also ordered their cottage cheese and assorted vegetable burritos: nicely wrapped with the rice. The mixed vegetables came in separate with the soy gravy.
Ended the meal with Strawberry Cheesecake and the Opium Pastry which was gooey and chocolaty.
Overall, if If you’ve been looking out for a very synthetic Mexican experience, don’t miss this and head out to the Orb to dine in.
