Storytellers, The Micro-Fiction Fan Fest Is Back And It's Happening This Saturday

Jayati posted on 03 August

What Is It?

After a successful run last year, the micro-fiction fan fest is back with a bang and is being organised at antiSocial on Saturday, August 5.  The fest looks to celebrate literature in a newer form – micro fiction {also known as flash fiction}.

Who Is It For?

If you enjoy storytelling, then you ought to be a part of this fun and engaging fest. The Micro Fiction Fan Fest {TMFF} has been founded by Khushboo Balwani Rawal and Hiral Malde Shah, with a simple philosophy – to  explore the newer and shorter genre of writing.

The participants will be given two-three lines each – from a popular song to a prose or a written piece. Thereon, they need to expand on that and create something of their own {within 15 minutes}.

Why Should I Go For It?

To be a part of the millennial dream – to create something fun, and shareable {hello Terribly Tiny Tales, looking at you}.

Additionally, the panel of judges is an illustrious lot. There’s going to be our favourite VJ, Hooezay {hoping he gets his social-media star, baby daughter too}, actor and poet Arunodoy Singh, Nikhil Taneja {writer}, Sharin Bhati {co-founder of Books on Toast}, and more influential people. They will be judging the participants, and declaring the winners across various categories.

Anything Else?

The tickets are for INR 300 {inclusive of one beer}. If you’ve been looking to express yourself, this may be the platform.
