There’s A Monopoly Café Open In Matunga, And It Has Nothing To Do With The Game

Shortcut

Did you guys know of Monopoly, a café in bustling Matunga that has zero to none relation to the board game?

This Ain’t No Plain Jain

Why are we even talking about it then, Monopoly enthusiasts will lash out. Well, the USP of the place lies in the fact that it serves only Jain food. Say what! If you’re Jain or friends with someone who has limited options while eating out, you’ll be only too glad to take a spin around Monopoly.

The food here is everything you can snack on – from 10 types of pav bhaji, grilled cheese toasties, panini, nachos and maggi as the staple binge-ing snacks. There’s also Jain pasta {the indecisive people seem to recommend the pink sauce highly}, and pizza – including chocolate pizza. Purists, please feel free to sigh loudly, and pick the margherita with basil. There are mocktails and milkshakes of many a variety to gulp down whilst eating and chatting with your friends.

Prices here start at INR 100 for a toast, INR 150 for pasta and INR 150 for pizza.

So, We're Saying...

Did we mention? Monopoly is classic us on a Sunday – it opens at 2pm and is awake till 1am every day. Make a scene with your friends when you’re on a budget, and when you’re Jain. Just kidding.
