Monsoon Comfort: Warm Up With Filipino And Colombo Curries
Shortcut
Chow Down
If you, like us, love a bit of a hot spicy curry, head down to Bombay Vintage in Colaba for South Asian flavours. Bringing world curries to the table like the Filipino curry {curry powder, potato, bell pepper and coconut milk}, Colombo Curry from Sri Lanka, Burmish Curry from Burma, and of course, closer to home, Konkani {Maharashtrian style}, and even the Moilee curry. To cool down the spices, sip on their exciting collection of cocktails. Think spiced grass, cucumber and basil or classic cocktail in Caribbean.
Traditional curries will be served in a pot, with a choice of vegetarian {mushrooms, paneer, soya} and non-vegetarian selection {including prawns, mutton and more}. The curry would be served with jasmine rice, neer dosa, vada dosa and more.
So We're Saying...
Leave the monsoon gloom behind, and head for a delicious bowl of curry for the soul, and the sole purpose of indulgent Asian flavours. The quirky decor of the cafe is a bonus as well.
